Azealia Banks adds some spark on the remix to Lana Del Rey’s single “Blue Jeans.” The Harlem firecracker spits an electric verse over the robotic beat by Smims&Belle (Mark Foster and Isom Innis of Foster the People). Check out their electro take on the bluesy tune.

Wale puts in work for his “Slight Work” remix, but ain’t nothing slight about this!

Even though the original Ambition joint includes a collaboration with Big Sean, Mr. Folarin gets not one, but three in the hole.

The remix includes features from Bad Boy’s Diddy and French Montana, and former Bad Boy, rumored to be the latest acquisition of the Maybach Music Group, Ma$e.

Yes, Mr. Betha is back everybody!

Montana kicks things off, followed by Wale, Diddy, and Ma$e who delivers the finisher with his ‘comeback verse.’

He spits:

“Wait til they see my future. Only dude from the Unit, MMG recruited”

Could that line be confirmation that Ma$e is MMG?

Well, one thing’s for sure. This is a certified banger!

Check it out below, and let us know what you think!

Some people were “Ready To Learn” yesterday and some people weren’t.

R&B singer Brian McKnight was trending worldwide on Twitter yesterday when he revealed he was going to release an adult mixtape.

FutureBeatz still doesn’t totally understand the concept of an “adult mixtape,” but we know that the reoccurring theme involves “p*ssy” and “squirt.”

The lyrics that had the whole world cringing went a little something like this:

“Let me show you how your p*ssy works/since you didn’t bring it to me first/I have a lot of things to show you/if you’re ready to learn/ let me show you how your p*ssy works/betcha didn’t know that it can squirt.”

After receiving an overwhelming amount of support and an overwhelming amount of disgust, Brian McKnight sat down with TMZ and revealed why he made “Ready To Learn.”

“I’ve been home for a month … I’ve got this boot on my foot. I’m like a month away from Achilles tendon surgery, so I’ve been stuck in the house.”

What can we all learn from this situation?

When you have tendon surgery you may go a little stir crazy and make infectious inappropriate songs about vagina.

Brian McKnight is planning on releasing the full version of “If You’re Ready To Learn” next week, so stay tuned!

Get intimate with ‘Hood B*tch‘, the latest cut by Azealia Banks.

A cool mesh of 80s Pop and Maury Povich ‘ratchetness’, ‘B*tch’ is believed to feature on her ’1991′ EP but may also find itself on’Broke With Expensive Taste’, her first studio album.

Listen below…

As the age old adage goes, good ‘Fortune’ comes to those who wait. And ‘wait’ is what fans of Chris Brown will have to do. For, after weeks of speculation, the Pop star has confirmed that the release of his 5th studio album has been pushed back.

Details after the jump…

The news comes via the 22 year old’s Twitter page, where he announced today that the eagerly awaited LP (formerly due on May 8th) will now arrive on…

July 3rd 2012
*************

Granted the album is increasingly moving further and further from its initial March store date, we can’t say we’re averse to it. For, unlike the delays which plague many a flop project, the one’s here appear both necessary and well-thought out.

Yes, ‘Strip’ and ‘Turn Up The Music’ performed well, yet for an album which is shaping up to be the comeback Chris has been working so hard to achieve, a solid pre-release setup is a must. And with him currently touring Australia and no new videos conjured up since ‘Turn Up The Music’, an early May release would have been a T.K.O.

Hence, expect new singles, visuals and performances (hello BET Awards?) going into the LP’s new release window. Exciting times! Though, perhaps most titillating is the fact that Chris, Usher, and Justin Bieber will now all be releasing within the same June/Summer window. Who do you think will come out on top – beyond, of course, their respective record labels?

After a lengthy hiatus, John Legend is back!

The soulful crooner has enlisted Ludacris for his first release in over 3 years, ‘Tonight (Best You Ever Had)’.

Set to feature on te soundtrack of upcoming Urban flick ‘Think Like A Man’, the Phatboi Productions cut will also feature on the 33 year old’s new album – only if you like it (his words, not ours).

By no means groundbreaking, (or first single material), the track remains solid.

Lush production and a “qualitative” knock provide Legend a sound vehicle to soar with, while Luda – as ever – turns in a show-stopping appearance.

It’s the cut’s lyrics, however, which serve as the song’s Achilles’ Heel. For, lyrically it simply don’t provide a narrative nor hook which is engaging enough. Particularly given the stellar nature of the production.

The likes of Adele have shown that quality music can still chart, while boasting an air of accessibility and “radio-friendly”. Omissions here which makes this, at best, a decent album track.

This is one of the tracks that didn’t make the final cut of Diggy’s debut album “Unexpected Arrival” Kevin McCall did his thing on the hook.

Kanye announced via twitter a new track from the Good label….
Here’s the instrumental to whet your appetites, what do you guys think of the beat?
